2nd Saturday
2nd Saturday workdays are the best way to serve with R3. All volunteers and all skill levels are welcome to join us every second Saturday of every month - rain or shine. Since early 2015, thousands of youth and adults have partnered to push R3's mission forward by volunteering their talents to swing a hammer, hang a truss, or sweep floors. The results of participating in 2nd Saturdays are astonishing. While 100% of volunteers say they come to serve, the vast majority of volunteers report a list of positive outcomes after serving. Significant results include a more positive view of East St. Louis as well as an increased likelihood of interacting with people who are different from themselves. If construction is not your thing, don't worry! We have other volunteer opportunities for you. From finance and administrative tasks to tutoring our students, helping organize events, web development, etc... There's something for you!
